Questions often pop up about handling Medicare Part B Rxs for durable medical equipment (DME)...glucose meters, nebulizers, canes, etc.

DME Rxs can be tricky...since they require extra documentation or dispensing steps compared to typical prescriptions billed to Part D.

Plus some MEDS...such as nebulizer solutions (albuterol, etc) or insulin for a pump...may be covered as DME, since they're administered in equipment.
