Point Out Recent Changes to FSAs and HSAs

The end of the year will bring questions about flexible spending accounts (FSAs) and health savings accounts (HSAs).

Medical FSAs and HSAs allow patients to set aside tax-free dollars to spend on eligible health expenses...such as Rx co-pays, OTCs, and other items (bandages, durable medical equipment, etc).

Most FSAs are typically "use it or lose it"...patients forfeit any remaining funds in the account by the end of the year.
