You'll see a new form of bupropion called Aplenzin (uh-PLEN-zin).
It's just a different salt...bupropion hydroBROMIDE instead of hydrochloride like Wellbutrin.
The only advantage is that patients can take just one Aplenzin tablet a day...even at higher doses. Patients on Wellbutrin XL need multiple tablets if they take over 300 mg/day.
