This one is a good example of scientific theories hitting the news before their time. The theory is interesting...but, at best, it’s far too preliminary for prime time.

News reports created a stir with quotes about NSAIDs and acetaminophen cancelling the effect of antidepressants.

The whole premise is based on a single study with many limitations...it only looked at Celexa (citalopram) and it didn’t look at the dose of analgesic or how often analgesics were used.
