Pramipexole (Mirapex, etc) can cause heart failure.

FDA issued a safety alert announcing that they’re evaluating a possible link between the risk of heart failure and use of Mirapex.

But don’t get ahead of the evidence. It’s too early to recommend that patients switch to something else...the case against Mirapex is very preliminary.
