allergic reactions to Bextra
There's growing concern about allergic reactions to Bextra.
There are now several reports linking Bextra (valdecoxib) to cases of anaphylaxis and life-threatening skin reactions... Stevens-Johnson syndrome...exfoliative dermatitis...etc.
Tell patients taking Bextra that these reactions are very rare. But if it does happen have them discontinue the drug at the first sign of a rash or swelling.
