Novartis will soon launch Foradil Aerolizer (formoterol), a new long-acting bronchodilator for asthma.
It will be used as an alternative to Serevent (salmeterol).
Foradil lasts as long as Serevent. They're both used twice daily for asthma maintenance therapy.
