Vagistat-1 (tioconazole) ointment is now approved for OTC use. It's the first SINGLE-dose OTC treatment for vaginal yeast infections.

Vagistat-1 is comparable to using Terazol 3 (terconazole) or Monistat 7 (miconazole).

Tioconazole levels persist for 3 to 5 days after one dose.
