Women will soon have a new option for emergency contraception, called Plan B.

Plan B is the first progestin-only emergency contraceptive. It consists of two tablets of levonorgestrel 0.75 mg.

Women take one tablet within 72 hours of unprotected sex... then another tablet 12 hours later.
