Medicare prescription drug benefit would mean significant changes for pharmacists
Clinton's proposed Medicare prescription drug benefit would mean significant changes for pharmacists.
About a third of Medicare patients don't have Rx coverage. Now Clinton is proposing a new Medicare "Part D" drug benefit...starting in 2002. Seniors would initially pay $24 per month for drug coverage...increasing to $44 by 2008.
This is less than the cost of most private "Medigap" premiums.
